Photographing a truly Beautiful Wedding at Chewton Glen.

There are some weddings you enjoy, and then there are the ones you wish you could press pause on—just to stay in that atmosphere a little longer. Isabelle and Tristan’s wedding was firmly in the second category.

The day began with what felt like an endless stream of beautiful moments during the getting-ready preparations. Those early hours are always special, but this one had an energy that was impossible to ignore. The room was full of laughter, excitement, and that unmistakable buzz that builds before something truly meaningful unfolds. Isabelle was surrounded by her family, and every interaction felt like a photograph waiting to happen.

And Isabelle—she was absolutely breathtaking. Knowing she had travelled all the way to New York to find her dress at the very shop where Say Yes to the Dress is filmed somehow made it even more special. And honestly, it showed. The dress was perfect in every sense—elegant, timeless, and completely her.

Tristan was equally striking, and together they were just… magnetic. The kind of couple that makes you want to push yourself creatively, to go beyond the expected and capture something truly unforgettable. I found myself constantly thinking, I want these pictures to be stunning. Not just good photos, but images that reflect exactly how incredible they looked and felt in those moments.

I also felt incredibly lucky on a personal level, because everything at the venue felt so fresh and exciting. Chewton had just been refurbished, and you could sense it in every room we stepped into. There was this beautiful, renewed feel throughout the space—each corner offering something a little different, a little inspiring. It made exploring with the camera even more enjoyable, finding new backdrops and little pockets of light that felt completely unique to their day. It’s always special photographing in a place that already has so much character, but when it’s been given a new lease of life like this, it adds a whole extra layer of magic.

As the day unfolded, that same energy carried through—from the quiet, emotional moments to the bursts of laughter and celebration. It never dipped. If anything, it grew stronger. And that’s what made it so hard to let go of. Even as the evening drew in, there was this feeling that no one was quite ready for it to end—myself included.

Some weddings you leave feeling satisfied. This one, I left wishing for just one more hour. Because days like this don’t come around often—and when they do, you feel incredibly lucky to be there to witness it all.

It actually feels impossible to do this wedding justice in just one blog post. As I started going through the images, I realised there were simply too many moments I love—too many frames that deserve their own space to breathe. Trying to condense the whole day into a single post wouldn’t capture the depth and the emotion. So this is going to be one of those weddings I share in chapters, because Isabelle and Tristan’s day truly deserves to be told properly. When you have a wedding this full of life, style, and genuine connection, you don’t rush it—you savour it, one post at a time.
